Refund Policy

We believe refunds should be predictable and fair. Below is exactly how cancellations and refunds work for bookings made through Get Tour Packages.

1. 24-Hour Free Cancellation

Most bookings include a 24-hour free cancellation window starting from the moment your booking is confirmed. If you cancel within this window, you receive a full refund to your original payment method, minus any non-refundable third-party fees that the supplier explicitly identifies before checkout.

2. After the 24-Hour Window

After the free cancellation window, refund eligibility depends on the supplier's own policy. The exact rules - including any change fees, refundable percentages and deadlines - are clearly displayed before you confirm payment and are repeated in your confirmation email.

These are general benchmarks; the supplier's published terms always control. Some discounted, "non-refundable" or peak-season fares may have stricter rules.

4. Changes to Your Booking

You can request date, traveler-name or itinerary changes through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Supplier change fees, fare differences and applicable taxes will be shown before any change is confirmed.

5. Cancellations By the Supplier

If a supplier cancels your booking (for example due to schedule changes, weather or operational reasons), you are entitled to a full refund or a free rebooking, at your choice. We will notify you as soon as we are informed.

6. Force Majeure

Where travel becomes impossible because of events outside the supplier's control (natural disasters, civil unrest, government restrictions, pandemics) we will work with you and the supplier to obtain the maximum possible refund or a fair rebooking option.

7. How to Request a Refund

  1. Log into your account and open the relevant booking;
  2. Click "Cancel" or "Request refund";
  3. Confirm your reason and review the calculated refund;
  4. Submit - you will receive an email confirmation immediately.

8. Refund Timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Most travelers see the funds within 5 - 10 business days, although banks and card issuers may take longer.

9. Travel Insurance

For maximum protection we recommend purchasing optional travel insurance at checkout. It can cover situations - such as illness, family emergencies and missed connections - that supplier policies do not.

10. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, please reply to the refund email or open a case from your dashboard. We aim to resolve all disputes within 14 days.
